Refund policy
Refunds, in plain English
Last updated October 9, 2026.
We want you to be happy with FreeDrop. If it is not right for you, ask for a refund within 30 days of your order (Plug & Play: of delivery) by emailing [email protected] with the email address you ordered with.
DIY Kit ($85)
- It is a digital product (software, files and guides), so nothing is returned. We refund the price you paid, cancel your license key in our records and stop your download links. Please uninstall FreeDrop and delete the files; the software itself cannot be switched off remotely, so this relies on your good faith.
- Tell us what went wrong first if you can. We would like to fix it, and many problems (camera focus, lighting, GSPro settings) have quick fixes.
- Money spent on your own filament, camera or printer time is not refunded.
Plug & Play ($250)
- Email us within 30 days of delivery. We will tell you where to send the hardware back. Return it in the condition you received it.
- We refund the price of the item once it arrives. [OWNER: say who pays return shipping, and whether original shipping is refunded.]
- If the hardware arrives damaged or does not work, we will repair it, replace it, or refund you, and we pay for the shipping.
Things we cannot refund
- Problems caused by a third party we do not control, for example a change to GSPro's connector, are handled case by case. Please read the compatibility section before buying, and ask us if you are unsure your launch monitor is supported.
- Your GSPro licence, your launch monitor, and anything else you bought from someone else.
How refunds are paid
